met him after his ''Stained Radiance'' show at Eddie's Attic w Norton. A wonderful gent, and he absolutely slays the guitar. That particular show changed my life. I've seen him w Wilco several times, and he never disappoints. I get a lot of inspiration from Nels, he's a Wizard.

It’s the tradition in Virginia. Maybe in other parts of US mid Atlantic also.
Live Footage of Napoleon after woke up from his nap in his Tomb: (All this time they thought he was dead.)
Such a great exhibit. Must see
Lovely
I'll be listening closely.... great artistry, Sunny. ❤
Wow, you and your students are so talented! I love seeing other artist’s work. My favorite were the four portrait pieces you called assemblage. I am sorry I forgot the artist’s name. The use of materials was outstanding! Also the piece with the insects was fascinating. What kind of glue do you need for that? PVA?
three new sharpe books???😬
What is Egypt and Kush? I think you mean Egypt and SUDAN. Nice try to twist things, your viewers now think that Kush is IN Egypt but it's actually in SUDAN. I will dislike the video for misinformation
I’m hosting Nels Cline 5/30/24 in Palo Alto but also Mark Lettieri 5/24/24 and looking forward to the comparison
Dreadful presentation. Voice and interrupted sentences. Do better with less garbling.
Lucy is the BEST ❤!
Obviously amazing to hear Corey. Props to the sound engineer too!

Beautiful historical chronicles time line lecture of Khmer’s history, I never known the different of India arts and Khmer’s arts, Thanks for sharing
I would be closest of friends with Sunny War, i love her authenticity.
Why am I hearing boss music???
A fantastic performance by His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke Geza!
Wonderfully insightful conversation...
we have to get the interviewer out of the freezer
You lying about your arrest and trying to make it about race. It was absolutely pathetic and showed your true colors and character
The presenter should have put down his foot. The only think I could see at the opening is the bottom his shoe. And the camera showed Nels' face out of focus for much of the interview. Apart from that, I can't get enough of Nels' music and wisdom. A true innovator like very very few.
He is right in the sense that Sargent wants to make his painting look spontaneously effortless which alludes to a sense of elegance and mastery that is associated with power. He might not intended to paint about colonialism but I understand his view point about the depiction of effortless mastery. I don't think he was comparing his work in an exact visual sense but there is an intersect when it comes to elegance and beauty.
Fascinating. Thank you for sharing this behind the scenes look at this essential and critically important aspect of the VMFA.
Thank you to all involved with the behind-the-scenes video of the conservation work at the VMFA. The story of the conservation work is fascinating and the video itself was so well done. Like thousands of other members, I love the VMFA. This video will add to my experience, understanding a little more of the museum’s story and seeing the dedicated and talented people that support the work. Timothy H. Wright, VMFA member and retired photographer.
Oh man I'd get very surprised if I met him
Power!
The person giiving the interviewer lacks as a whole
You don’t need a safe light. As long as it isn’t uv light you are fine.
samineity? I can't understand this word at 12 seconds. Someone must have better ears than me? What is he saying?
One minute I am so inspired listening to this amazing person and musician and the other minute I feel like giving up and throwing my guitar out the window. This is what you can be after 50,0000 hours of playing enjoying every minute of it.
Ordinary notes is my favourite book of the year! What a mind. How essential for our time.
